La Identidad de Género

La identidad de género de una persona es su sentido interno de ser hombre o mujer, chico o chica. El género se crea por la manera en que nuestro cerebro, mente y/o espíritu están “configurados,” y no por el cuerpo físico. Cromosomas, hormonas, manera de ser criado/a, etc., no determinan o cambian el género de una persona.

La única persona que sabe de su género es ella misma. No hay indicaciones externas que prueben o refuten el género interno.

La identidad de género está asociado con el neurodesarrollo del cerebro...se ha demostrado que no se puede modificar esta condición por medio de socialización contraria, ni por tratamientos psicológicos o psiquiátricos.

La identidad de género no puede ser detectada visualmente ni por ningún otro medio.
